Tin sheet made of pure tin with 99.9% Sn
We offer Tin sheet as a pewter alloy with the chemical composition Sn95Sb4Cu1
We offer Tin sheet in two different lead-free qualities.
We offer Tin sheet in two different qualities: soft pure tin with at least 99.9% Sn or a harder pewter alloy in the composition Sn95Sb4Cu1. Our Tin sheet is lead-free with a maximum of 0.04% Pb and is used in applications such as medical technology, as a filter in radiation technology, in organ building or as a noble surface for bar counters and counter construction. Due to the low melting point and easy processing, the possibilities of use for Tin sheet are very diverse.
We offer Tin sheet up to a size of 1,000 x 2,000 mm per sheet
We deliver Tin sheet up to a size of 1,000 x 2,000 mm per sheet and in thicknesses from 0.5 to 20 mm. As standard, we always have Tin sheet in the dimensions 500 x 500 mm in various thicknesses between 0.5 and 3.0 mm in stock.
What is Tin sheet?
Tin sheet is a rolled sheet of tin that is often used for craft and decorative purposes. It can be made of pure tin or a tin alloy.
Tin is a very soft, silvery-white metal with low corrosion resistance and a low melting point. It is relatively easy to process and form, which is why Tin sheet is used to make organ pipes, jewelry, silverware, candlesticks, lamps, figurines, and other objects. Tin sheet is also used to decorate furniture, in counter construction, for wall decorations, in radiation technology, and in medical devices.
Tin sheet made of pure tin
Tin sheet made of pure tin is a high-quality form of Tin sheet that is made from pure tin. Pure tin has a high purity with only very small amounts of impurities such as lead, copper, or other metals. This makes pure tin a preferred material for the manufacture of objects that have close contact with food, as it is considered to be safe for human consumption.
Tin sheet made of pure tin is in high demand due to its high quality and its smooth, shiny surface. It is often used to make jewelry, drinking vessels such as cups and jugs, as well as decorative items such as statues and figurines or in arts and crafts. Pure Tin sheet is very malleable and can be easily shaped into different forms, making it a popular material for the manufacture of handcrafted objects.
Tin sheet made of tin alloy
Tin sheet made of a lead-free tin alloy (e.g. Sn95Sb4Cu1), also known as pewter or Kaisertin, is harder than the very soft pure tin. With its higher strength, it is better suited for the manufacture of thinner-walled products such as tinware, drinking vessels, or coatings.
